Maintenance & Testing

To keep the best condition of fire alarm devices, it is advisable to keep scheduled maintenance and check the following:

Checking the physical appearance of the fire alarm devices.
Smoke Detectors should be cleaned & tested for sensitivity levels .
Fire alarm control panels should be tested for all alarm, trouble, supervisory, reset & silence functions.
Checking the device’s power supply.
Checking/ replacement of batteries.
Checking/ removal of any obstruction on the devices that may cause false alarms or malfunctioning.
Checking if the alarm is audible.
Devices must be replaced when exceeding 10 years from the manufactured date.
